The radar portion is a receiver not a transmitter. This is why our jammers are legal! They use a FM chirp, a mixer, and a waveguide antenna for all radar bands the FCC allows the Police to use. The lidar portion is active and transmits a specially modulated field of light in front of the vehicle with infrared diodes. There are no laws against light so no laws against laser jammers.
